For over 20 years Bankers was the sole investment advisor to the Trust Department at Bank of A. Levy in Oxnard. Common attributes of our selected companies include: high barrier to <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">entry, sturdy and growing earnings, strong pricing power, recurring revenue, low <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">relative price volatility, macro-economic tailwinds and management with <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">successful track records.<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BANKERS MARKET VIEW FALL 2025<\/span><\/strong><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Macro View<\/strong>&#8211; Our pre-election deep dive into empirical data from the Carter-Reagan and<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Biden-Trump transitions suggested higher budget deficits, higher interest rates, lower oil <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">prices, a lower US dollar, higher alternative asset values and higher equity index values in <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2025. We are batting 833 but the game \u201cain\u2019t over til it\u2019s over\u201d. Continued geopolitical <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">instability, US government shut down, uncertainty over tariff policies, the growing US <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">budget deficit and the advent of AI will continue to bring volatility to capital markets.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Fixed Income<\/strong>-The government shut down has closed-down data flows to economists <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">making accurate forecasts unlikely, so we remain cautious on the yield curve with our <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">fixed income model allocating 30% in T-Bills and one year CD\u2019s, 50% in intermediate term <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">US Treasury notes and 20% in extended duration US Treasuries.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Equities<\/strong>-Earnings season is just beginning. We continue to pursue and own companies <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">that allocate their capital productively and which command strong pricing power for their <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">goods and services. We are currently focusing our attention on companies which are <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">leveraging AI technology to increase profitability and relevance in the 21st century.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Alternative Assets<\/strong>-We continue to see strength in gold and silver prices. Cryptocurrencies seem to be a part of this \u201crisk trade\u201d as well but we remain cautious with this <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">newly forming asset class due to zero barrier to entry and lack of regulatory oversite. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cDrill Baby Drill\u201d continues to be detractor for higher oil prices.
